Arrival at Connellan Airport (AYQ). Meet your private guide, transfer to your hotel (e.g., Sails in the Desert or Desert Gardens).
Day 1: 3:30 PM
Trip to Uluru. Visit the Aboriginal Cultural Centre. Take the Mala Walk to the caves and the Mutitjulu waterhole.
Day 1: 6:30 PM (Sunset)
Watch the magical sunset from a special viewing platform, observing the changing colors of the monolith.
Day 1: 7:30 PM
Dinner at the traditional Pioneer Outback BBQ pub (optional, food paid on spot): grill your own choice of meat — kangaroo, camel, emu, crocodile, buffalo — plus the salad bar. Return to the hotel.
Day 1: 10:00 PM
A 10-minute walk up the hill to take in the constellations of the southern night sky (if there is no full moon or cloud cover).
Day 2: 5:30 AM (Camel Sunrise)
Optional, at extra cost: transfer to the camel farm. Enjoy a fascinating 1-hour caravan ride across the dunes at sunrise. Includes morning tea, coffee, and freshly baked damper.
Day 2: 9:00 AM
Full breakfast at the hotel, check-out.
Day 2: 10:30 AM
Drive to the Kata Tjuta (The Olgas) massif. Walk through the majestic Walpa Gorge between the giant domes. On the way back — a stop at the camel farm: the museum, a look around the farm and authentic photos.
Day 2: 12:30 PM
Transfer back to the airport for your flight home.
